Can't wait for this, gonna be awesome.

Huge Black Keys fan, I can push play on their first album, and listen through their entire discography and never change a song. Good shit for sure.

Funny, the local "rock" radio station here just started playing them, only after they were on SNL. A buddy of mine hears it and calls me up and says dude theres a great band you need to check out, called the black keys... my reply I have like 10 of their albums, where the fuck have you and knoxville been?

yeah man theyve been out for a LONG time. Lots of great stuff.

They both moved to nashville.....last week I was out with some friends and ran into dan auerbach.....not, ive met countless musicians, been to their houses, etc...not one to be starstruck. but when i saw him, my buddy introduced me and all i could muster was wide girl eyes and a "youre dan fucking auerbach!"

They havent done much i havent really liked...excetp blak rok...but even thats damn good.

Thats usually my go to response when meeting someone famous that Im a fan of. Unless its a female, then I'm respectful.

Was at a club in Knoxville when Superjoint Ritual played... there I was hanging out drinking a beer, some guy pretty much runs me over heading to the stage, first reaction: im gonna kill someone. Guy turns around and apologizes and my response was "Holy fucking shit, you're Hank III". Yup he was headed to stage (he played bass for them), shook my hand and apologized again then jumped up on stage.

hank 3 (sheldon) is a fucking cool dude. a guy in my old band was dating his girlfriends roommate...ended up around the same table lots of times.

sounds like you have good taste in music
