After I posted, I got an email from them with the tracking #. It turned out that they actually shipped it out on Nov 3rd but they never bothered to update the status of the order online. ffffuuuu.gif

Of course, they used the @#$% FedEx Home Delivery method and they tried to deliver this morning to my office ON SATURDAY. Bastiage censored.gifbaldy[1].gif

Anyone confirm who makes these?

I got one of these suits (155 and 120) this week but unfortunately it was a bust. It was the newbury rope-striped, I got the 40 reg. The fit of RLBL is perfect for me in 40L. The rugby jacket was WAY too short but the sleeves were pretty good. Also, the chest and shoulders seemed MUCH tighter than I remember the RLBL being... but then, when I tried on an RLBL suit I was a t-rex armed cyclist and for several months now I've been lifting, not riding.

I'm pretty sure it was half-canvassed. It was definitely made by Caruso, the tags are identical to a recently made caruso suit. The odd thing was that on the website, the jacket was listed at MSRP of 598 and the pants 248. The labels on the jacket and pants I received said 399 and 199.

This one is not as aggrevating; My first order was for a pair of Marlow and I got it on Tue. The order in question is the second order consists of a dress shirts and a belt, plus 2 xMas gifts (a women BL polo shirt and a boy Richmond jacket) meant for a good friend and her son.. smile.gif

The problem I have is with the 'order status' on the RL website; the FedEx website worked fine. After I placed my order, I actually called RL's CS hotline pleading them not to use the FedEx Home Delivery method given that this is not the first time this happened to me. ffffuuuu.gif

Well that makes sense that is too short since a 40L is perfect for you in RLBL... a 40R would naturally be too short.

And yes they seem to be half-canvassed. The blog and FE Castleberry were all misinformed or just don't know how to check.

Been eyeing them as well, but not sure on the fit.

I went for the 5 pocket cords, they run a little slimmer than the Preston fit cords, and have a smaller wale as well. I have tried them on in the store already, so there was no hesitation on my part. Can't beat the price right now.

interesting... XXL...the average size people who dress in hip hop style buy their polos in..

but in reality this is a good article, does shed some thought on the origins and reasonings behind the adoption of Polo at the Rap and Hip Hop level
