Rather than take liberties with the truth, I tend to say nothing at all. In the case of the things mentioned, it's really nobody's business as far as I'm concerned.

I only lie in bed. Or should that be "I only lay in bed"? "I only get laid in bed?" Grammer is so confusing.

Actaully choice of word is diction -- GrammAR is tense and punctuation.
