Hi I am wondering if anyone knows where to buy a Video called "Eyebrow Shaping" which showed people how to trim eyebrows with a Straight Razor, I erased my copy but would like to buy it again!
It was from a Barber shop maybe in Chicago, anyone help me out!

Hi there,

Not sure if anyone can tell you where to get the video but...

Please do not shave your eyebrows!

I always learned never to shave eyebrows when suturing lacerations; it could permanently change the way the hairs grow at that particular location.

Also I do not like the look of shaved eyebrows (on either man or woman).

Maybe it is better to remove the excess hair with a tweezer? And be carefull not to overdo it!

Didn't Vanilla Ice popularize this in the 90's?

Yeah, just say no to shaving eyebrows.

They've been shaving eyebrows for a minute. Black/hispanic barbers do it routinely for their customers. Typical customer, haircut, shape-up, facial hair and eyebrows.

I wouldn't do it. I stick to getting them waxed by the lady who does my facials once a month.

I second the tweezers suggestion for a couple of reasons. Shaving and shaping the eyebrows to much will make you look feminine. There is something about perfectly sculpted eyebrows that look extremely girlish. Also, when you pluck your eyebrows you remove the root and thus it takes longer for the hair to grow back. Shaving does not do this.

Yeah, I recommend just plucking them as well. I have pretty heavy eyebrows; I remove the hairs from the center and a bit from the outside edges. Definately be careful not to overdo them; it can look really bad if you do.

Yeah, I've seen some guys at my gym who started it and they look like Lucille Ball. Theres also one hispanic dude who arches them in big "Vs" over his eyes and has his hairline shaved in on both sides on the back of his neck. I'm not sure where this was inspired. I think he feels he looks "groomed." He basically looks sort of like a weird Diablo marionette .
