Thanks, that would be great. I actually made an order last night including the leisure trousers so i'll see what they're like soon. Was tempted by the other pair as well but i'll wait to hear back about what they're like. Not sure what shoes i'd wear with them / whether i'd look i was wearing scrubs on the way to the hospital etc...

Opinions would be great. I have the worst luck trying to find pants.

Well the leisure pants came today and i'm not sure. The fit is okay but they're a little baggy, especially at the bottom of the leg. I dunno what footwear would go with them as with trainers (i tried them on with my New Balance) it all looked a bit 'i'm off to the gym', or 'gimme yer money or i'll slash ya one etc'. maybe a bit too tracksuit like. I like how they look with the sandals in the stock pic but i'm not sure i'm so into sandals (aren't they a bit ew?). The material is really nice though and the fit in the waist is good. I guess part of me thought they might me a bit more like these Dries:

...When really they're not. Would still be interested in knowing how the white cotton trousers fitted. I'd also be interested in knowing if i can get anything like those Dries and not pay £300. It's so hard to find interesting trousers that don't cost a month's rent dammit.

Would it be worth having them tapered? Most tailors could do it for under £10
post #500 of 848

They've got zips at the ankles - wouldn't that be a problem? Might be worth thinking about but at the same time they weren't the cheapest. Might be better to just back them and save up.

Are the zips on the outseam or inseam or both? If they're not on both, then the tailor can take it in from the seam that doesn't have the zips. Any experienced tailor can do this, but most prefer to do it from the inseam for ease.

EDIT: Looks like the outseam only, in which case they can taper from the inseam.

I didn't see djt00's post above - thanks for the heads up but i decided to keep the trousers as they grew on me (worn them most days since i bought them!).

These look nice as well though:

I meant to pick them up when they appeared online last week or so but didn't..., now they're out of my size :(

Those sandals look nice, yeah.  Still think i might get some cheap Birks as my first pair before spending any more on them though.

Also hope they do another colour of that long cotton parka - a deep navy would be nice...., not so keen on the orange.... Doubt they will though.

Can't find those. Are they still available?

They're on the top row of the new items - 'relaxed cotton trousers'.  They come in both white and navy.

Here's a direct link though - http://www.cosstores.com/Shop/Men/New/Relaxed_cotton_trousers/51655-4201347.1#c-7632489

Can anyone who owns the deep round neck T-shirt in either small or medium provide me with measurements of it's length?

Don't want to have to order two sizes and deal with returning stuff to COS again...

Can't help you out but if you email them they'll send measurements

I have done, but it normally takes them a long while to respond, so I figured posting here might get a quicker response
