If you don't want to receive emails from Drakes, why did you subscribe to their mailing list in the first place?

Of all the things to make a thread complaining about, this seems pretty high on the pettiness scale...

They've actually been selling jackets in the shop since it opened I think. I dropped in there the other day and had a quick look at them - had some very nice soft tweedy solids in blue and grey which were very tempting, patch pockets, unstructured, half lined. Didn't try them on though. Some nice knitwear too. Also ties and pocket squares not listed online.

I am starting to like that these makers are offering RTW coats in essentially the kind of configuration I would otherwise commission.  It makes the idea of picking up the odd casual jacket so much more relevant and easy.  Unstructured 3/2 with patch pockets?  I'll take that.

 

What is the damage on those, anyway?

I was there last night for the drink-a-glass-of-wine-and watch-a-tie-being-made evening. Jackets are GBP1000, or about 250 more than something bespoke from Graeme Brown or someone of that ilk.

 

Seems like a no-brainer to me.
