What is your Eddie Haskell meal?

Eddie Haskell was the creepy, sorry punk on the old television show "Leave It To Beaver". On one episode he moved out of his home and was bragging about how great his life was, but it was discovered he was having a sorry time of it, eating corn flakes for dinner, lonely, etc.

Last evening I got a hankering for pancakes. Out came the instant mix, etc. It occured to me that this was sort of my own Eddie Haskell meal. It is kind of sorry isn't it? A grown man eating pancakes for dinner in a big old house. (BUT - I am not a creepy punk!)

Ramen noodles. From a bag. Prepared in the microwave. Sad.

"Prepared in the microwave." Ugh, what a deliciously cruel sad twist you added.

There is not much 'fessing going on. People are too busy counting the buttons on their jackets or adoring themselves.

C'mon, people!

I've got a ton of these!

I ran out of everything but onions and garlic one day, so breakfast, lunch, and dinner were sauteed onions with salt and pepper.

Spaghetti, olive oil, garlic, and onions.

Sauteed 3 day old McDonald's burger bun, onions, garlic, and beef broth.

Poptarts for three days straight

Jerky for a day and a half

I spent 2 weeks with nothing but eggs, garlic, corn tortillas, and onions

6 day old beef fried rice and instant pepper gravy

Beer

Nothing but cigarettes all day once

A Big Texas cinnamon roll for both lunch and dinner

etc.

New years eve at a friends house, we were drunk and hungry. Raiding friends' freezer found some frozen smokies from a barbecue earlier in the summer. Microwaved the smokies, found some mustard and squirted a big pile on an empty plate, then proceeded to eat the microwaved smokies held with paper towels, dipped into the mustard. We are all young business professionals with bachelors degrees.

My roommate and I live in a sub-penthouse (second from top floor) condo. He's eaten Church's fried chicken FIVE TIMES this week alone. FIVE.

I've had bacon sandwiches for my last 4 meals. I'm about to get out of bed and make it 5.

I once made Kraft Dinner (not sure the name of this in the US) with Irish Whiskey because I had no milk.

Mustard sandwich
rice and tabasco sauce
tofu, raw, cold
hard-boiled eggs
garbanzo beans from the can with pickled jalapenos on the side (when I'm feeling luxurious)

As gross as that is, Eddie Haskell never would eat tofu.

I had a friend try and make instant mac and cheese with Kahula once.

Why yes, he WAS drunk. Why do you ask?
