Chukka boots

Hey all,

Firstly, I keep learning new stuff on here everyday, so thank you! Secondly, I'm in need of some opineons. I'm thinking of buying a good chukka boot, and yes I have read the other threads, my budget is about 120 - 150$, ideal color brown, something I can wear with jeans. I've found this, and I know steve madden is not exactly liked here but what the hell, please have a look!

Do you guys have any suggestions?

Thank you!

You are correct in that you wont find a lot of love for Steve Madden here. That being said, those aren't awful and would look fine with jeans. Another option is Mr. B's by Aldo. There is a thread on some different boots right now, but I think they have a chukka for $150. It looks pretty similar, but I'm guessing the construction is better. Another good option, IMO, would be Clarks Desert Boots in Beeswax.

Hey guys,

I've looked at so many chukka shoes and to be honest I dont even know what to buy. I have an idea, I want something which I can walk in, so basically a rubber heal? Not anything which is going to kill my knees, something which is leather, I'd rather go for leather than suede though I know many like suede.

Because my budget is not so high (150$), I saw the steve maddens which I know no one likes, and clarks which I also know no one likes but please have a look and tell me what you think:

any other suggestions? I'm looking for something I can mainly pair with jeans,

Thank you for your help gentlemen

I'd also have to recommend the Clarks Desert Boot. Similar in appearence, look great with jeans, in your budget and a design classic.
