Tailoring/Manufacturing in Hong Kong

Can anyone offer any input about tailoring houses or factories in Hong Kong that might be able to offer economic manufacturing for a brand based in the US? Obviously "economic" is hugely subjective, but still...any thoughts would be appreciated. PM is fine. Thanks.

Hong Kong manufacturing is virtually dead. If you are looking for value, you're better off looking in China.

Isn't Chan in HK?

edit: oops misread your post.

I thought this might be the case.
I asked about HK because I will be visiting there in November and wanted to do some ground work.
Do you have recommendations for China?

Why not contact the proprietors of The Armoury?

They are on SF, know clothing and are on the ground in HK.

AFAIK, "Made in Hong Kong" was big in the 80s and 90s. Now, not so much.

Try visiting Shenzhen, it's not too far away from Hong Kong.

...of course in the '60s and '70s 'Made in Hong Kong', often meant cheap and nasty, especially transistor radios. Rather like what 'Made in China' means now.

BTW I'm quite sure this wasn't made in Hong Kong...

there are many companies that can produce for you.

unless you walk in really well prepared. you will be wasting your time and theirs.

you will need sketches and specs
