ya the quality is pretty low, esp that the stuff is made in china. but i bought some for like 30 dollars so i really cant complain. whats really crazy is that in the winter season they seem to want over $200 for the stuff!

is it just me, or has yoox pricing really gone thru the roof? i used to take risks at the sample sale bec the prices were crazy lao, at most of these prices its totally not worth the risk.
and at full prices, unless yoox doesnt realize what they were selling, the prices are sometimes more than retail!

No I did not buy the 38/48 (I am a 34 US size). I paid slightly more than $30 for the Carouzos, but IMHO it is not a deal considering the poor quality, even at that price. I did end up buying a pair of Incotex in the forum here - it hasn't showed up yet. I have been quite satisfied with all my purchases in the forum so far and these have been excellent deals. I did get a Corneliani shirt for $40 (including free shipping with coupon) from Yoox not too long back - which was Made in Italy and good quality for the price. But these kind of deals appear to be few and far between.

I bought pair of Carouzos cords at the sample sale for a pittance, which supposedly had cost € 195. While they are made in China, the cotton quality is decent (not Brisbane moss, perhaps, but OK) and there's a considerable amount of fine catch and blanket stitching on the trousers. I'd be the first to say that supporting local textile crafts is important and 99% of my wardrobe is Western-European made, but "Made in China" need not automatically mean inferior quality (often as it does).

As to yoox, I still find it a Godsend, particularly since a number of more traditional quality brands has become available (my figure is way past "fashion forward"). I've bought Hilditch and Key, Scottish cashmere, excellent Italian shoes and where else can you get a del Siena shirt for € 25? It's true that prior brand experience helps to wade through the huge assortment, on the other hand we have free return shipping here, so there's no risk involved.

Everything I have bought from yoox form Italian producers has been made in Italy.
Why would you expect a Greek boutique to have eponymous lines made in Italy, just because they stock some Italian brands?
Come on, be serious.
Yoox is great. Where else could you by a Brunello Cucinelli cashmere cardigan for £300, A Kiton suit for £950, Tod's loafers for £155 a Truzzi shirt for £58, 3 pairs of Ermengildo Zegna flannel pants- made by Incotex for £240, and Incotex pants £90-£100 brand new all which I have ? I have also had some Kiton, Isaia, Santa Andrea, Attolini, Marinella, B.Napoli ties for absolute steals.
Recently bought a two pairs of silver 925 halmarkerd Ermenegildo Zegna cufflinks, in beautiful wooden boxes, for £180. They retail for £300 each. I kid you not.

Anyone who does not believe me regarding the cufflinks. I will post pics, and show receipts from Yoox on request.
