100% wool vs blended wool? Schott Car Coat

I recently bought this wool coat from Schott, and I love the color and style.
However, I looked on the tag and it said it's a 80%wool 20%nylon blend.
This kind of ruins it for me because I wanted a nice quality wool coat, but a wool blend seem to be something I would buy at the Gap.

Do any of you know the reason for adding nylon to wool? Is it a filler to make the material cheaper? If that's the case, that surprises me because I thought Schott only made quality stuff.

Maybe I'll send it back. Any of you know of any comparable jackets with 100% wool?

Yeah warmer and a little more weather-proof. Keep it.

Wool gives warmth and is durable while nylon gives flexibility to the clothing.

I'm looking into buying this very same jacket. Did you try it on first? Where did you buy it? A little a forward but.......can you post a pic of yourself in the jacket?

I think if you google search it you can find some pics of people wearing.

I got it off the Schott website. I got the grey but I thinking about trading it in for black.
