Measurement Question on Ebay Suit

Thread Starter

I was looking at buying this suit:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1684-PAUL-STUART-ITALIAN-WOOL-GRAY-SUIT-42s-/370544689644?pt=US_CSA_MC_Suits&hash=item56462f41ec#ht_8981wt_1005

I am generally a 42s, and most of the measurements seem perfect for me. However, I was a little taken aback by the shoulder-to-shoulder measurement of 17.5 inches. Does anyone else think this seems weirdly low? None of my other 42 RTW jackets are smaller than 19 inches shoulder to shoulder.

Probably a typing mistake / copy paste forget to correct. It happens.

If there's time in the auction, post the seller and ask about this. Of all the measurements of a jacket, shoulder-to-shoulder is the one I look at first and last. Lots of other things are alterable (I almost always have to shorten the sleeves, and once the skirt), but the fit through the shoulders and chest is sort of built into the piece, and critical for a fine look.
