I get the impression he'd like to be seen as an eccentric, Bertie Wooster style English gentleman about town. He just comes across as a dick. I bet he even drinks 'English Tea' with his pinkie up.

I apologize for taking so long to respond. I just today found this thread. First, Joffrey, thank you for following the blog, I hope you continue to enjoy it. Despite what others may think of the tone.

As per the tone, yes, I guess you could say there is a hint of condenscenion, as I can be rather judgemental on it. But i intend to be judgemental, as I think people not only need to know what is good and right, but also what is bad and wrong; at least in my view. My influences are mostly English and preppy with some other random bits in there, which perhaps could give way to an 'eccentric' impression (I am not English, I am from the Philadelphia suburbs and currently reside in NYC). As per my level of douchebaggery, well, clearly you all have your opinion, which is fine and you all are entitled to that. But I will say, would you really turn down getting your picture taken with those five women? I think not. Regardless, I appreciate all of your words, whether kind or not, because they do help me get a better understanding of what people do think of the blog. And regardless of whether you may or may not like my tone I do hope you find some merit and enjoyment in the blog.

Lastly, for the record, I do not drink tea, but if I did I would drink it with my pinky up because that is the appropriate way to hold the tea cup (not out of snootiness but of the fact that it is supposed to create more of a balance and that it is how it has been done for over a century). And yes, the blond on the left is my dream girl as well.
