It seems over there all you need to do is sneeze and a fight is on.

Most of the women who fight in the streets are drunken slags though, not really the sort of person you expect to be shopping at Brooks Brothers. The woman you met just sounds like a plain old, garden variety bitch.

I know it is somewhat misplaced because that person may well just don't give a shit about the price/really want to buy there and now / whatever- but just last weekend I was going around Harrods in London and was watching people buying RLBL shirts for £220 when 40 miles away the same shirts cost around £45.
Now I don't buy them period, (why bother when RLPL is £65) but damn an 80% mark up is a lot to swallow

I myself was at Harrod's last week, and wished I could have handed out eHABERDASHER cards to everyone in there buying Kiton, Lanvin, Cucinelli and Brioni at full price... but out of curiosity where can one get RLBL for so much less? Are there outlets on the outskirts of London?

I stopped by a local BB over the weekend ...armed with knowledge from our fora, I was going for a fitting on a few Peals. I guess one of the customers overheard my conversation with my SA about C&J and AS nail patterns, he came over and curiously ask how I got to know all that sh** because he was planning to buy some Peals as well. Not wanting to be pretentious and a know it all, I said by research. But I think he appreciate the fact when I mentioned about the BB semi-annual sales, if he can wait 'til Dec or June next year....He decided to postpone his purchase....So I guess my answer is Yes, only when ask....

I only say this when I feel like getting booted out of a store.

Absolutely correct.

It is none of your business whatever what people are buying and how much they are content to pay for it.

People paying full retail are the ones keeping lux brands afloat. If there wasn't someone paying £130 for a Polo shirt then they wouldn't be able to sell them in discount stores at £40. Every one of those people is doing you a massive favour.

Every time i go shopping with a female, i have to stop them from buying the polyester nonsense that is over represented in women's wear. I am constantly disappointed on what passes for luxury wears in the female fashion world. Women get fashion, not substance. Men get substance, with a little fashion.
