Any Problems polishing AE Holtons?

I have a pair of Holton loafers that have a "texture" in brown.

They need to be polished but was wondering if I needed to do anything special because of the texture.

Just apply the polish fairly thinly and rub in thoroughly in small circular motions.

Buff with a brush.

All will be good.
