Renting Higher Quality Tuxedos

Does anyone know where to rent tuxedos that are of a higher quality than Men's Warehouse?

I would prefer to find a place that allows one to rent the RLBL tux but somehow I don't think that exists.

just buy one. It will cost twice as much, but it will fit better, look better, and be available at a moment's notice.

rented tuxedos are for proms and college formals at most. I'm assuming you're a professional adult, so its time to buck up and buy one.

good luck.

I am planning on buying one. I was thinking about the wedding party.

Nine years ago my daughter was married in Carmel, CA.
I was deputized, because of my "high standards", to find rental
tuxedos for the others in the wedding party. I would be wearing
my own Tux from Paul Stuart. For several weeks I scoured San Francisco
and the Peninsula for higher quality rentals. Maybe they existed, but
I couldn't find any. Finally, I decided on Mens Wearhouse. Their
quality was par with others and the price was better. Most important,
the service was excellent, including pick up in various cites and
drop off in others.

No personal experience with them, but http://www.blacktietuxedos.com/ is (or at least was) downtown. Not sure what you can rent from their stock but they have more than the average Selix or Men's.

Look for a shop that rents Joseph Abboud tuxes. I rent tuxedos in my shop and they are the best quality ones that I have found and have a great slim fit model. I also do well with the Calvin Klein tuxes for weddings, very nice quality for a rental, but the Abboud is a notch above.

it would be great if you can have a custom tailor tuxedo rather than renting one.
