What messenger bag are you guys using? - Page 8

Sooo--

I ended up going shopping for a bag this weekend. I literally went to every single store on Newbury Street in Boston. I had considered that I would have a Manhattan Portage bag as a backup if I couldn't find something I liked.

I ended up getting this raw denim G-Star Rescue large bag. I really like it and I will post some pics later.

No worries of indigo staining your shirts, jackets and what-nots?

Well, the bag is black. Should I be?

I use this military surplus one. It has been sturdy enough for me and has carried some heavy books to class for me. I like the general look of it, plus it was only $23.

Considering on ordering one of these bags at 25% off. Leather is veggie tanned in Italy, bag is made in Canada. I've posted one of them before, but not the other two. Any thoughts? $CDN 330 $CDN 250 $CDN 380

Jack Bauer bag. ~$18. I absolutely love it. You know the feeling you get when you purchase something for very cheap and are happy with it and know you would have paid much more for it...

Pretty sweet. I espically like the last one. Where are they from if you don't mind me asking?

I too like the last one, but the price is a little steep for me. I might settle for the middle one. And as Hermes mentioned, they're from Roots.

^^^

The middle one is quite nice as well, and probably the one I would get due to the price difference. I kinda like how it has minimal detailing anyway.

Chrome's Messenger Bags are amazing.

Chrome here, too, a brown Citizen. Great bag if you're legitimately biking most of the time, but wildly impractical for everyday pedestrian use, as it tends to create a lot of back sweat from being so fitted to the body.

I'm currently dreaming of this:

It's really frustrating how many nice looking bags will not fit a 15" MBP (14" wide). I keep reading descriptions that claim "will fit a laptop!", but apparently they're referring exclusively to tiny MacBooks. All the more reason to blow $500 on this DH...
