Hope i'm posting this in the correct section.

I'm aiming to change my style from the "I don't care how I dress" to "Smart yet casual" on the cheap if possible but am at a bit of a loss on idea's. I'll show you a rough idea of what i'm thinking off and hope you guys with the actual knowledge can help me amend my decisions?

Hat(Trilby):
166

Jacket:
184

T-Shirt:
324

Trousers(Jeans):
190

Shoes:
196

What do you think? as you could tell above i'm looking for something casual yet slightly formal (hence the hat and jacket), does this seem look stylish to you or cheap looking? probably cheap looking, but what could I improve on? I don't want to go out full formal looking because I would stick out way too much at collage, thanks for the future advice guys!

There is nothing special here and it doesn't work well together.

If you are going for jeans and want to look smart, get a button down shirt or a polo. I don't think that t-shirt is a good idea in any situation.
Get a proper pair of dark denim; not a pre-faded set with number stitched on the pocket.
The shoes look square toed....pass on those as well.
The hat looks like you're trying to hard. It doesn't match what you've presented as your style.
Go to a proper brick and mortar store. Until you are experienced enough to know what brands, fits, and styling you require; you'll just be wasting your money experimenting with random stuff off of ebay. Use the money to buy a few high quality items on which to build a wardrobe.

I agree with what you say about the shoe's and t shirt, but I ordered the hat and absolutely love it so much, I aso think the coat will look fine with the hat too, remember I want to look formal yet casual too so I don't stand out too much at collage, would you be able to suggest any shoes and or tops that are in the budget area? nest.gif

Wish I had a better job, ROFL!

Look around you and see what other people in your station or in that to which you aspire wear.

Then slavishly go out and buy similar.
