Last post on this was from 06'....

Hoping to get some RRL's hemmed and Chainstitched without having to ship to NY or LA.

Thx.

Chicago doesn't really have any shops that sell the kind of denim that needs chainstitching so your best bet is still NYC or LA.

I know. We suck. :embar:

Well we stock both 3Sixteen and LVC (both of which are constructed with chainstitched hems), but I do understand the plight of having no one in the city who can do this type of work for us. I'm going to do some research and try to come across SOMEONE who can get things done in this style forsaken (at some times) town.

I've got a RRL black slim fit that needs hemming, APC, and Naked and Famous.

If you plan on wearing your jeans beyond the raw stage and want them to distress, I think chainstitching is the only option to get the roping.

Just learned this the hard way with another pair of RRL....had them done w/out chainstitching and they now look like slacks. Travesty of the highest sartorial order.

A world class city like Chicago should have some Chainstitching.

If anyone knows any places...Holla atcha boy kid!
