So I Jumped In The Ocean In My Raw Jeans... - Page 2

I think that was pretty cool.. a neat photo documentary but you prolly should have done less wading in waters photos and more fit ones after they dried in different lighting. I thought it was cool tho some people will argue at home salt soak vs ocean salt soak but whatever its all in how you enjoy the process and the result.

Great, fun post -- even if it's just denim mythology. Ignore the h8.

The jeans look good both pre-ocean jump and post-ocean jump (I'm not seeing a difference from your pics but i'm sure any shrinkage would only be noticeable to the wearer). The only question I have is do you like the length of them? Did you buy them long on purpose?

NYR - thanks for the post! As usual, love your contributions!

Nice. I actually did this, but I'd be afraid to do it off Staten Island.

Also, you already look like a 20 something hipster. Just more muscles. Funny thing is that I've met you in person, and in those pictures, you look like you've packed on 20 lbs of muscle... Also, what is up with the beard these days? You going Amish?

great post, teach. the seawater x jeans topic has been discussed for years and this is the first time I came across a photo essay on the topic. I do share the concern on wading through that icky beach... at the very least wear aqua socks or something.

I thought they would have faded more when I heard they were APCs. I'm planning on going to Spain next summer. I will try washing my RRLs in the ocean there.

Been wanting to do this to my APC as well.
Weill report back after my trip to Cali in the coming months.

Legit post, great documentation...I don't see much difference but I have always wondered about ocean washing in the NY area.
