I wish I could afford a better one.

Shoot for Brooks Brothers on one of their bimonthly sales. They should be having one shortly.

For the OP:

Cheers and congrats on your wedding! First post, but I've been trolling the forums for a while.

I actually came to this site because I was looking at this site: http://www.thickasthievesla.com

The guy, from a person who makes suits, is legit and knows what he is talking about. His fabrics and cuts are pretty standard and traditional, nothing to fancy - but from what I can tell he makes a full canvassed suit at a good price. Price for members of this forums floats around $400-$500 and seems to be a much better deal (just due to quality) in the bespoke suit area than other made-to-measure manufacturers such as IndoChino. I think a 3 or 5 button low cut vest would look great, although Thick as Thieves won't do a 3-piece, because he doesn't like them.

If you are looking for a department store make, wait till November and pickup a Ralph Lauren Black Label suit, it will fit nice and with some modifications would look really nice with some cufflinks and a formal cut collar on a white shirt. These will run around $600 on sale. You might be able to get a vest thrown in at this price.

I also make suits but they aren't as conservative. High contrast fabrics and a lot of silk blends, I have about 6 shades of white that I can use that are anywhere from 8-20% silk/poly/rayon blends made full canvassed. If you are looking for something a little more flashy but still a great looking suit, I can help you out at a good price (sorry, I don't mean to advertise, but I don't do this as a business - I just do it as a favor to friends and those who request it, the only markup I make it to compensate for my time in putting it together, think about $350 or $400 for a three piece suit). I almost wouldn't recommend this being that a white or darker cream colored suit would only be wearable for the wedding day...if you are on a budget get something that will be multi-purpose (you mentioned you just graduated, you might want this suit to double as a first job interview suit - silk won't fly ^_^).

Good luck to you!
