Suit for my wedding in 2 months.

So I'm looking for a suit for my wedding which is in two months. I have only a budget constraint (around $600. I've only just recently graduated and am just starting out), I'm completely open to any ideas. I've looked at BR, J.Crew, BB, RLBL, but some suits at Neiman Marcus. I only found one I liked, looked good in and could afford but it was at J.Crew. I could really use some help here, as I only own two cheap suits that I used for interviews during my college days. Thanks guys.

How much is your wife to be spending on the dress, which she'll only use once?

Just asking.

Honestly I have no idea. She lives in India and I couldn't begin to tell you much wedding dresses cost there, since I've never really shopped for clothing there.

What size are you? Try looking on eBay or the B&S forum here. Polo suits are relatively available in that price range.

I'm a 38S (5' 8'' about 165). I'm a bit worried about eBay or B&S, how does B&S usually work if something goes wrong?

People set their own policies, but no returns is the baseline rule. That's one reason why it's cheaper than stores. Check your measurements and try to snag something great at a great price.

Go to your local casino, stick your $600 on black or red (your choice really) and pray like fuck.

Just go to a Mall and try some shops and find something that you think you will like for the day.

Don't buy it online if you are not terribly experienced at this. I would try Jos A Bank if you have one in your area. You also might have luck at a Macy's buying one of their better brands (stay away from their house brands), especially since they have frequent sales, but be sure to wrangle in a good salesperson. If you are fortunate enough to have a Nordstrom in your area, you might be able to get a suit for under $700, possibly for $600 if there is a sale. Any outlet malls in your area? Or a Filene's Basement or Saks Off Fifth? You might get a good deal, but there will be no helpful salesperson to assist with the fit.

Find a good custom tailor in your area, or just visit some malls near you, or a rental.

You could do worse mall brands than Jcrew. Since you have time you may want to give Benjamin a try. I have no experience with it but I have read a lot of good things on this forum. Again, that said, Jcrew would probably serve you fine. Also you could keep hitting sales.

Now goin back to what a previous poster was alluding to, if you are just being frugal and can afford better for your ONE good suit, do it. It will serve you well for years to come.

I've emailed them and am actually looking through their fabrics to see if I like any right now.

I wish I could afford a better one.

The casino option is not that bad... No, seriously, go to a decent tailor, it's your wedding!

I would say the first step is to go get fitted for a suit. Then you'll be able to know where to start; as many of the places where the best deals are found lack knowledgeable sales people.

Check out the Buy/Sell. If you see a suit you might like; go try on one at the retail outlet. You'll then know the fit and the look. Then you won't have to worry about buying it online then.

Go to second hand and thrift shops as well. Check the thrift bragging thread to see what can be had for very cheap.
