Faultless is a PVC Starch.

For source material just Google 'Shirt PVC starch' should give you lots of reading.

I can promise you that the manufacturers of shirts dont care much about skin contact, they are only interested in profit. Besides, you will probably find that the plastic bag it is displayed in is also probably PVC as well, as well as the PVC plastic bag that they put the shirt and it's PVC plastic bag into once you have purchased it. When you pay for your shirt with a credit card, it is made of PVCA, a very close relation of PVC ...

Should I go on ...

I'm going to order my next dress shirt to be made out of plastic. Oh wait, we already have polyester!
