He was one of the true greats of the NFL. Too bad he's been bat shit insane for the last decade or more.

Who cares. He deserves his own thread.

He was the first to draft a black QB #1, 1st to hire a women as a major executive, 1st to hire a black head coach, and first to hire a latino head coach. Funny that he does not get mentioned among the greats in furthering equal opportunity and racial equality. He also brought us the ever memorable "just win baby."

PS I think it was the sun that got him.
