I do not think it looks long, but 1/2" shorter wouldn't make much of a dfifference.

I'm concerned about the sleeves, there is significant bunching at the back of the upper sleeves.

I have asked Ah Loke to address that issue.According to him, he will adjust the sleeve rotation.I notice that my right shoulder drops and this leads to puckering at the back and the sides.

The gorge height isn't my cup of tea but it looks good. Make sure to update us once it's finished :slayer:

guys, this is pics for my second fitting.Apologies for the terrible pics, it was taken using my blackberry.I know the sleeves dont look good and i have asked the tailor to address it. I have also asked the tailor to shorten it by 0.5' in order to balance it with my body. This can be seen on the right side of the picture. However, i have asked him to shorten the back by 0.25.Any comments?

I think the jacket is actually too short. It makes your arms look long.

my right arm is actually longer then my left arm.Looking back att the picture, im tempted to call up the tailor and tell him that there is no need to shorten the jacket by another 0.5'

Hi terrorsquad,

if you post your pics at thekerbau.com I will give a critique (bigger pictures please!). I do have a few things to say.

Naka:
There is no way anyone can tell the gorge height at this stage. This is a basted bespoke jacket with inches of inlays everywhere. It is not a jacket hanging in J. Crew or Banana Repuiblic.

I think his arms just are pretty long. If it was made long enough to make arms looks shorter than it would probably look ridiculously long in a myriad of other ways.

I was mainly focusing on the 2nd photo, where the jacket seems to end very close to the crotch, which would be quite short. I suppose it would be quite hard to tell since the photos could be angled.

hmmm, I also think the jacket looks a bit too short, even for a modern suit.

the waist may be too slim as your back vents are flairing
back of the arms (tricep area) there's lots of bunching

not sure about your posture, but a suit has two parts, and I can't really see the pants... pics of the pants fit please? (front and back since I can see some bunching around the back)

PS - there's a thread dedicated to this thing with tailors...

jacket is not at all short. length looks okay and button placement looks okay in terms of vertical proportions

The front of the sleeves look good. I'm no tailor but I would think he would have to take up the rear shoulder area of the sleeves to get rid of those wrinkles, not change the pitch.
