Differences Between What you Wear in Spring and Early Fall

I usually start wearing boots come fall, but put them away in early spring. I also start wearing cotton and linen ties in spring, but they stop coming out come October.
What say you?

I can't wait for the cooler weather to bring out the tweeds and flannels. I usually am sweating because of my early October haste, but at least I look good! Cashmere sweaters and corduroys come out, too.

In spring/summer it's all about linen, jeans, loafers & polo shirts.

My tartan plaid shirts and thin wale cords have come out already for fall. Flannels and tweeds will come out when it gets cooler. Linens and lightweight cottons have been put away until spring.

Remember, style is not a formula.

I might keep the cotton and madras ties going for a while.
They are a nice contrast to winter.
There is no reason except convention that they be relegated to warmer seasons.
Linen pants are another story, but it's not like worsted wool pants are so protective either.
So, it's all bullshit, and just wear what you want, when you want.
