Which Kindle

Looking to get my mom a Kindle for her birthday. However, I'm torn between the new Kindle and the Kindle Touch. Which would you guys choose?

If your mother has no issues syncing the Kindle with her computer, then that would be the most cost effective option; however, if she likes new gadgets get the Kindle Touch instead.

If she travels a lot, you might want to opt for the Kindle Touch 3G (this is also a good option if she is computer illiterate since she won't have to worry about syncing via wifi).

I dont understand the Kindle Touch. Almost every interaction with the device is flipping a page forward. The touch also requires an extra layer on the screen, compromising the display.
