Who makes these Brooks Brothers shoes?

I'm trying to ebay some shoes for a friend - BB Calfskin Plaintoe Bluchers. The size/model numbers inside are: 12D 6A16Y002 19 00069.

I've been digging around this forum, and I gather that most Made in USA Brooks Bros shoes are made by Alden. However, I've read elsewhere that Allen Edmonds also makes BB shoes. I don't want to advertise them as Aldens without being sure. Can anyone clue me in?

I always ask myself the same questions..I try to find out as much as I can by
- reading older threads and post
- visiting/calling the store/merchant and asking shitload of relevant questions
- sometimes I take clues from pricing, which is not the most efficient way, in this case Alden$ > AE$ .
Otherwise, I have to trust the vast knowledge of SF members...icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

If you see a lot of Alden models, you'd probably recognize it too. It's a variation of what is the 990 model in cordovan. Looks like this shoe is on the Barrie last given the shape. The price point is typical for Alden too, $400-$500 for calfskin, $600ish for cordovan.

Allegedly the PTB is on the M58 lasts which is the same as the Barrie only sized normally (ie. 9.5 Barrie = 10 M58).
