Need help with finding similar pants

Hello everyone!

Last week I ordered casual pants that I really liked, but unfortunately the size appeared to be really small and the store did not have a larger size. I tried to search the web for this particular pants but unsuccessfully. So I was wondering if anyone could help me find similar pants (finding the exact one in the desired size is prob impossible by now)...

Here is what this pants look like (grey color)

http://www.yoox.com/item/YOOX/MARC+JACOBS/dept/toppicksu/tskay/3FD17CD7/rr/1/cod10/36249195TJ/sts/sr_toppicksu80

I ordered 36 but t appeared to be really small, so 38 is probably the right size for me.

I would be really thankful for any help!!

Cheers,

George

It depends on where the pants were small. If they were very tight around waist and thighs, then try the 40 they have listed and get the waist taken in.

I would hazard a guess though that perhaps the pants do not fit your body shape, so sizing up may not work as desired. If you are regular and the cut is slim, forget about it. Even a two size leap may still not fit as desired.

I tried them on, 36 was tight in both thighs and waist (i was barely able to button them). I would've tried size 40 but they only have it in black color, and I really wanted bright grey one...

the length was alright, but I assumed that 28 would've been perfect...

thanks for the links, I checked them out... they look good, but the color is a bit more dim than the ones I wanted... but so far it is the closest thing I have seen to those pants.

I have tried them on, 36 was tight in thighs and waist (barely was able to button it). The height was a little short, so I assumed that 38 would fit right.

Thanks for the links, so this is the closest thing I have seen to those pants... but the color is slightly dimmer if you noticed. Marc jacobs' pants are brighter and thats kind of crucial to me :/

If you're dead set on that exact color, try a tailor. Pick the exact fabric you want, and have them made with the exact fit you want. Trousers are a lot cheaper than jackets or full suits, might be worth looking into.

How about getting a tape-measure and actually measuring your waist instead of just trying different sizes at random?

yea that might be a good thing to do...

Do you guys know how much it would approximately cost to get pants form a tailor? I have never used their service before. I have the actual pants with me (haven't returned them yet), so should I just come to them with this pants and tell them that I want them to make similar ones?

P.S. I live in boston area, could you guys suggest some tailors in that area?

Thanks to everyone for their replies!
