Are you saying you expect to be comforted by a character that has mental health issues? I don't love her character but I believe that's the point. She gets tunnel vision when she sets her sights on a goal and will step over anyone/thing to reach it. She rubs people the wrong way.

She has these moments in the show where she'll put on this apologetic little girl face as if she is reverting to her adolescence when she knows she fucked up. It brings a vulnerability to her character.
