We should come up with creative punishment ideas.

I just bought an Acne raincoat, RRL low straights and pair of suface to air jeans. Not checking any shopping sites of any sort once this starts.

A "No Purchase Club" where you can spend $100. Or $200 even.
For October 2011 but it starts on the second week.

Interesting concept.

Some shirts of mine don't fit without alterations...do I have to suffer a month in poorly fitting clothes? I NEED to join the club for a couple months.

I'm in. I spent way too much in September.

You've cherry-picked this out of its original context, leaving out the 3rd group allowed $0.00
It is designed to wean them off spending. The $200 chapter is for those who proved that they can go an entire month without spending and therefore this group would be less likely to spend their allowance anyway. See how it works?
We're starting late because I didn't get the thread up earlier. This was my fault.
I've tried other clubs with harder rules and it proved too hard for most. Small steps therefore.
Wait until you see next months club rules wink.gif

Count me in on this one. First time, $100 USD 'for emergencies' can go quite a long way in China. smile.gif

I need to have my shirts taken in because I've lost weight. Pants waist also need to be taken in.

We officially start Friday. If you can initiate before then, you'll be ok and won't have to report it.
If you initiate after Friday, it is encouraged to abide with your budget of $100.

Yeah for 636 renminbi I could eat for an entire month! And still have left overs. DW is from Henan.

As for the month, I am in. I didn't get my object of lust as I thought I would, just got lazy and didn't do anything. So another month to go.

I'm in, first time for me. Glad it starts later this month or I'd have already failed.

I'll give it another go this month. Fully expect to fail though. We'll see smile.gif

I've already ordered my two Fall shirts, so I'm in for this month. Should be a piece of cake if Namor doesn't send me any links to C&J shoes on ebay again. smile.gif
