Opinions on Gaziano & Girling MTO

I am thinking of doing an MTO on the Deco Cooper or TG73 Sinatra in either racing green och midnight blue. What are your opinions on this? Too out there?

I would be wearing it with odd trousers or jeans, I do not wear suits more then 3-4 times a year

Both look great in both colours. I tried on a pair of Cooper's today and I was pleasantly surprised that I liked them so much in black calf. I tend not to wear black shoes myself but the Cooper has began to change my thought process. I have a pair of Grant (Sinatra with Medallion) on the TG73 which I love but I do find if difficult to find clothes to match the Racing green calf in casual wear but these do match 2 suits I wear with them.

Prepare to wait a long, long time for MTO.... I'm till waiting on an order placed at a trunk show last winter. smile.gif

i think the midnight blue would be nicer than the racing green - easier to wear, and what i hear is navy is the new black!!

Hi there Nick! Thanks for your input! I really like green shoes but as you say it seems to be a bit too difficult to match

P.s Any date set on my Canterbury MTO?

Thanks Luk-Cha, I am leaning towards navy. Saw the pictures of the midnight blue/ anvy suede on the Astaire in the GG Pr0n-thread and it looked really nice

i keed. no hate, i know its a long process by nature of what goes into each pair and the amount of orders they get from medtech alone.

Just my personal opinion of course, but Racing Green would probably look nicer with jeans, although Midnight Blue would probably be more versatile and wearable with suits.

looks more olive than racing green, or is rg different to british racing green?

as op is planning to stick with g&g and stock up on various models, imo, it doesn't matter what's his choice this round.

racing green like navy in polished in black so i doubt it ;-)

I notice that those Gables have a "black oak bark sole and black lining" (quote taken from the caption in small text below the last photograph). The black oak bark sole isn't a  MTO sole option shown on the G&G site nor is it shown in the MTO buying tool on the Bespoke England site. Is this something that is offered on MTO via special request or was this a one-off done for Leaves & Tung?
