the flavors sound nice, but an onion puree that takes 2 hours? :confused:

The taste is really outstanding. And it's not 2 hours of active time. You can put them in the oven and then go walk the dog or play a game of cards.

Bras mixed some apple brunoise in the quinoa. Tasted quite good.
How about making a soup? A sauce?
Also, you might want to take an apple like Boskoop which is more sour than sweet. Don't know honeycrisp.
Edit: First result for savory apple: http://www.nytimes.com/1999/10/17/n...apple-dishes-and-leaving-desserts-behind.html
@impolyt: Yeah, that's quite a lot.

The quinoa idea sounds nice. I'm pairing it with game.

He talks a card game but I'd bet that he plays a Nintendo game.

he's 19; the only thing Nintendo has made in his lifetime is the Wii.

I played Zelda on the N64: Ocarina of Time. Zelda on SNES is for old geezers.

N64 was really pathetic compared to the SNES. I sold mine almost immediately and just went back to the older system. Never got anything more recent.

Yeah. SNES was the best. I stopped at Gamecube. That was a real letdown.

It was a masterpiece. I cried when I beat that thing.
