Does This Shirt and Tie Combo Work?

I'll be wearing a charcoal suit to a wedding and was thinking of pairing this short and tie with either burgundy or black shoes. What do you think?

I don't think works at all. The tie doesn't match the shirt at all, plus the tie is too light for the shirt. I would personally go for a darker tie.

tie is too shiny and doesnt have enough contrast against the shirt. whole combo looks too easter-y

not a fan of the different width stripes and colors. have a simple repp stripe? solid navy ? etc

A tie in the yellow/gold spectrum would look good with that shirt-I think either a paisley, geometric or solid pattern would work.
