The Shell Cordovan, non-Alden Shoe and Boot Thread - Page 154

the stain seems minimal, and hardly conspicuous. but we all vary in the level of tolerance for color variation. In any case reszo is pretty good with returns, so you shouldn't worry about being stuck with a less than perfect pair.

Get out the deer bone and dark brown saphir cordovan cream, it's splotchy enough to be turned into patina!

I've managed to make splotches bigger than that from over-zealous polishing shog[1].gif

RETURN.

(also....deer bone is absolutely useless and will just scratch the shit out of your shoes)

Hi, I wouldn't want to darken it more. The point is it's a large dark spot on a lighter brown shell. Appreciate to some it might be small, but actually I think it's rather large in a really prominent part of the shoe.

Anyway, I will discuss accordingly smile.gif

Yep, if it was somewhere else I wouldn't mind so much..... It's a real shame as the left shoe is perfect really..... Oh, life, darn you!

Some of us wouldn't care about the spot... Some of us (me included) would.

It obviously bothers you, so you should return them.

New Peal boots thanks to @tonio028, of course had to snap a few pics before they get some wear.
