Thanks, I'll give it a whirl. I did use a little saphir cordovan creme with ok results. I did notice that brushing brought up the oils in the hide and using a cloth smoothed it out/ shined it up.
jcman311, give them a small coat of Venetian cream and you'll see why it's the best one for shell cordovan. Cotton flannel is likely more gentle than brushes for buffing the hide, and won't scratch the dye off. Wear them in health!
