Anyway, I just asked and they said strong possibility, that doesn't mean a done deal. smile.gif
I would settle for natty chukka, but you have those already. Bummer hahaha.

They have a Llubi lasted tanker boot, will that not work for EEE as well? Looks wider than detroit in pictures.

Carmina high boots in shell are around 9 bills. Not gonna make that kind of gamble on a last I've never tried. frown.gif

Green is unobtanium, from Horween anyways. Rancourt had a green shell loafer but I believe they dyed that one themselves. You can sometimes get green shell (cipresso) from Trickers.

I really need something in the mid-brown range.  Ravello/Cognac/Brandy/Walnut/Truffle....

hmm. I'm not really hurting for either of those shades. What kind of shoe did you have in mind?

Meh, maybe I'll just sit tight until I can get that black shell Alden Tanker in my size.

Bonafe does have access to many other shell colors. Navy, natural, whiskey, and a couple Browns to name a few. But it is Solegarb, a Bonafe MTO retailer out of California, that has these colors. Skoak currently only has the mahogany and dark cognac. I've dealt with Lorenzo several times and can vouch he is a great guy. His contact is sales@solegarb.com

but what kind of shoe? If it's an especially killer makeup, I may be convinced to do Enzo mahogany. But are we the same width? I take G width in Enzo 946.

Otherwise, I'll just sit tight. Or order something from Vass. smile.gif I am on an Alden revello list already, so I can be patient.

Btw, Carmina has a small stock of green shell from Horween. They were running a shortwing blucher in it.

The same way they wear green calf or suede, I imagine. Casually.

Sure but do you think it's more of an every once in while choice, or part of a regular rotation?

Maybe I'm weird, but I don't see why not. Assuming that it's a darker green, I think it can work as well as navy, though not as a direct substitute.

These are really more of a warm weather once in a while shoe for me. They work well with cream pants.

Carmina shell.

I would be up for a black shell chukka from Enzo like this one:

I have a pair of green museum Vass chukkas that I love to bits but find difficult to pair (as I knew I would).  They look awesome with pale grey.  I'm not sure what else they look awesome with.

Love those.

They're dark enough that a mid grey would work as well, IMO.

And of course a variety of casual cotton pant variations

That in black shell would be awesome too.
