Me too.

Although, my navy shell LWB was just mailed!!

I emailed Carmina about doing a black shell chukka on Detroit GMTO and was told that it's a strong possibility.

Can you ask them for natty shell NSTs? You seem to be in good standing with Jaime :-)

I wouldn't feel right asking about a GMTO I can't participate in. Since I've realized I can only wear Detroit XL, and they don't do an NST on that last. frown.gif

Anyway, I just asked and they said strong possibility, that doesn't mean a done deal. smile.gif

Well, 3 of us so far.

I am thinking something in Cognac Shell Cordovan.  Preferably a boot.

What say you?

@peppercorn78

@polojock615

When I say Cognac, I mean the mid reddish brown Ravello.

Talk amongst yourselves...

I think I have too many boots already. I'd also need help on sizing anything that's not Ae.

...interested... though preferably something that doesn't cover the ankle, given anticipated delivery date.  Something clean, simple, and understated...

Well, @polojock615 Dr. @peppercorn78 has gotten a decent fitting from Carmina lasts that are EEE width and he and I both take those AE in EEE.

Detroit EEE is really the only Carmina last that will fit me well. Rain EEE is too small, although calf or suede will probably stretch enough to be wearable. Shell I wouldn't gamble on.

What about Bonafe? I've gotten good results with 946 in size 10 H. I wear 10.5 EEE in AE 5 last at 10.5 2E in AldenBarrie (apparently) for reference.

Ok.  I am down with EB in a wide width.  They currently only have 2 shell cordovan shades, namely, Mahogany and Dark Cognac.

Really? They don't have more than that? for some reason I thought they also had color 8, cognac, black, and navy.

hmm. I'm not really hurting for either of those shades. What kind of shoe did you have in mind?

Meh, maybe I'll just sit tight until I can get that black shell Alden Tanker in my size.

I want navy, whiskey, or natural.  Or green.
