Sorry for the delayed response. He is a shelter dog so not 100% sure but definitely part Irish terrier. I see that you have a furry friend as well!

Where can one find a pair of natural shell jumpers, anyhow? Not too keen on acquiring a #8, as I have a pair of dep red Trickers Stowes that I've darkened. Got my "red" shade need filled. Natural shell seems hard as hell to find right now.

Carmina is the most likely option. They did a natural shell jumper GMTO through reddit's r/goodyearwelt subforum recently.

They are doing a direct GMTO on their website right now for a natural shell PTB. http://www.carminashoemaker.com/mto-groups-1224/natural-cordovan-derby-531

Those look gorgeous. So we know they have the hides. I just sent them an email. Maybe they've got a pair lying around somewhere!

I received these MTO Julian Boots bowery boots in #8 shell in mid-September and have had them in pretty heavy rotation ever since. I polished them for the first time last week and thought they'd be worth posting here.

I've got a few more pictures in an album here.

@Varnu has pushed me over the edge. I'm going to have a pair of cordovan Julian boots made. They have Horween cognac skins in stock!

So here's a thought. I was always taken by the wing-cap toe hybrid of wolverine's 721LTD:

How do you all suppose that "pointed cap" might look with just a touch of broguing...?

Watchman1, there are a few brogue holes where the uppers haven't been struck through...this happens to most makers, and the bits are easy to pick off with a toothpick or such.

The OCD is strong with me.

@VRaivio

Thanks, I normally am the first one to pick up on that sort of thing.

Could be because these are 2nds????

Anyway, they have been fixed.
