I think I am in. Just need to see better pics on my comp screen and not my phone smile.gif

Also, if I do say yes @deusis do I need a reddit account? Thanks for organizing even if I decide against!

Nope! You don't need a reddit account. Just put in 'N/A' into that field into the order form. There is enough Horween #4 for 12 pairs and we have about 4 or 5 committed.

Can anyone advise on the sizing for this?

I am 7.5EUK in most CJ
7.5E UK in 202, 606 EG
8E UK in 82 EG
8E UK in MH71/TG73 GG

What size should I take for the boot?

Everyone on reddit (plus Deusis) is saying stay true to Brannock sizing.  Although I am not greatly experienced in UK sizing I think you'd want to go up to a 8.5E?  Someone else here might be better to ask (and who have much better experience with uk sizing)

Thanks jcman311, I actually heard a lot about "Brannock" and "Berrie" but have no clue about them (seem like American thing)

Appreciate if someone has experience with both these and the UK sizing to chim in.

I have always wanted a shell boot, how is the Ron Rider compared to the EG Galway and @NAMOR's famous Vass valway in whiskey shell?

Ok, so color question on the Rider gmto, whats the difference between mahogany and dark cognac? From what I have read, dark cognac was actually used in the AE brown strand as well as some C&J makeups in "brown". I have the brown strand and do like the color. It is almost a chocolate color. I cant really find anything on mahogany.
I am leaning between the 2. #4 is too red. I already have a color 8. Dont want black (yet). Whiskey may be my next option as I have a really dark brown and a light brown (cognac with red hues). Whiskey seems a little flashy for me yet and doesnt really fit in the collection yet.
So, thoughts? Anyone have true examples of mahogany and dark cognac? Deusis' examples look almost exactly the same. Thanks

Thanks @deusis that would be greatly appreciated
I think i would definitely go for the Whiskey Shell - but also tempted for colour 4 as well

I haven't ever seen #4 in person but it seems fairly close to the vintage cherry from GG

Those photos to be honest are not great. The colors do run into each other but really I do think a lot those colors are pretty close to one another one on the "Brown" spectrum. I think you might be best off looking for group photos like someone like zippy has posted to try to tease out some of these differences

here are a bunch of good pics from zippy, midway down this page
