the Alt English are icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

If only cordo stayed like that. Few wears and the creases take over and make them look odd as an Oxford - my 2 cents. good to c pics after a bit of wear tho

Strict use of shoe trees definitely minimizes the "beef roll".

C&J for RL Lindrick brown shell boot, next to their cousin, C&J for BB in burgundy shell (needs another polish)

next to the other 2 shoes currently in rotation, AE brown shell (!) Kenwood loafer, and AE black cherry PTB

it's hard to be a minimalist shell addict!

These are gorgeous. I like the wide tongue too. I've been thinking of getting balmoral boots, but these make me consider switching to blutcher boots. They're probably much easier on/off. Are they the 80184b?

How high are they if you don't mind measuring? And how did you size them? Would you be able to compare their sizes to Alden, C&J, or AS? Is this the Robert last or another? The website doesn't seem to list the Robert, but that seemed to be the igent's preferred round toe from Carmina.

Somehow I missed these: very interesting toe treatment. Do you have a pair?

Breaking in a pair of black shell Rider balmoral boots. Metal eyelets all the way up. This boot is sleek, has a great glow in the fall/winter sun. Will post pics eventually

Nice collection. Get yourself the Cambridge and then you have the whole set! wink.gif

I think AE does the classic shell models very well. I just wish they would set the toe medallion further back for the MacNeil.
