Does anyone still wear them? I saw a picture of them on a Japanese site and I'm considering scouring the local LA swapmeets for them and getting them tapered down.

I haven't worn work pants in a while, and I wonder how these compare to Dickies. Anyone have experience tapering them, or how the material is?

Well, I'm thinking of getting them as a cheap-ass alternative to Levis Sta-prest.

"cholo style?" lol

I think they look pretty nice but the tag on the back is a tad big?

IF you do try this go to a swap meet or workstore and get the classic fit. If the thighs don't look overly big, then taper away, and you'll have a decent pair of pants on your hand.

Funny shit and the first thing I thought. I flashed me back to high school where the latin gangbanger types used to wear those with creases in the front that looked like they could cut glass. They'd also cut the bottoms and use staples to help 'frame' their shoes.
