In my opinion is a bit slimmer at the toe box than the Aberdeen last (which i take a 10.5D in and fits perfect)

I am also a 10.5 in the Allen Edmonds Patriot
I see. Are these more elegant/dressy shoes or can you casual them up too?

Def more dressy than average shoe but i wore them with suits, sportcoats, chinos and sweaters, and linen pants and a polo

Ultimately had to let them go because after a year it was not as comfortable as other shoes

don't think quality is the issue, in my experience all RL Made in England runs narrower i.e. the EG for RLPL felt they were actually on English D width, same with the PRL CJ Shortwing/Captoe/Tassel (at least for US market, when I was in London I actually saw E width with US length sizing), I don't recall GG though.

Second this, quality is exceptional, still have the wingtip and PTB and those have hold phenomenally

Yea I have wider ish feet, Aberdeen Alden tassel doesn’t work for me either (upsize too long, up width heel too wide, down size up 2 width also didn’t work I definitely tried all possible combo…)

This is true.

In the US, RL’s G&G models were UK D width - very narrow. But for the UK market, they used UK E width. Never understood why.
