solid pair of boots, I noticed them soon after you put them up. I'd love to give them a run for the winter but my standard 403s have proven strong beaters

you'll have no problem moving those

I absolutely love my wingtips. I don't think I'll be parting with them anytime soon. Keep your eye out on Ebay. They pop up from time to time.

I've been eyeing these for a while.  Can anyone shed some light as to whether these would work with my 9C feet?

I wear 8.5D in Marlow wingtips and PTB's.

Prescotts picked up off of Buy & Sell today. I'm really in love with the shade of cigar that C&J uses for RL.

Not sure if it will work with 9C feet but I wear 8.5D in both the giannis and the marlow wingtips.

I decided to give the shoes another shot today. I recalled my Marlow wingtips being a bit snug at first, but molded to my feet pretty well. I think these will do the same.

Play around with different sock thicknesses. Also, you probably arent losing much $$ by trying and if it doesnt work out throwing them back for sale

Scooped a pair and love em.  Half size down seems to have been the magic number.  Given the narrowness of the nose, going a full down would have been challenging.

What is the standard operating procedure with the respect to the greenish build up on the Marlow eyelets? My came with it. Do you clean it off or leave it, for character?
Dude, there's patina and then there's gross corrosion stuff. Clean it off.
Done. I was picturing the scientists at the Ralph Lauren Research Institute working for years to perfect a metal alloy with just the right esthetic corrosive properties to match the subtle shades of the cordovan and Ralph himself going over to North Hampton to train the artisans at Crockett & Jones on the proper application of chemicals and hand burnishing to bring out the perfect shade of green.
