Thanks! At full price that's pretty expensive for bench grade. Do you think it's possible RL gets a hybrid, where the last, construction, and finish are bench grade but the leather itself is of handgrade standards?

It's the upcharge you're paying for having a RL shoe;)
If I'm not mistaken it's possible at a MTO shoes to do that!

Wouldn't fully dismiss the possibilities RL version are mix of hand and bench grade, CJ for BB has closed channel sole but it's not handegrade in its fullest

Like I said, when doing a MTO, that's what RL basically is asking from C&J such things are possible!

Just looked through a few shoes on the BB website and found the following C&J shoe with closed-channel soles, but no handgrade lining, and also not made on a handgrade last if I'm not mistaken.

They just have a closed channel sole. Nothing else stands out about them.

And maybe handgrade quality uppers, it was just to show Mosy, that when doing a MTO (or for a brand as RL), there are some special combinations possible.

I have a feeling those are made by Alfred Sargent. But i do understand what you are saying that perhaps RL or BB can get a mix.

Those are made by C&J, 100% sure.

Those penny loafers are the same model as the RL Marlow (http://www.styleforum.net/t/527563/bnwt-saintandrews-santandrea-handmade-blue-100-cashmere-sport-coat-size-46it-36us-made-in-italy#), maybe made on a different last, but therefore do I need other pictures or see the shoes in real live.

None. I use Lexol leather conditioner when needed (rarely). But there is no need to polish cordovan.
