Crockett & Jones for Ralph Lauren Cordovan (Marlow, Darlton, Gifford, Garran, Lindrick, McCallum, Rhett) - Page 497

I've said this before but the opinions on bad weather / shoe leather response can be bizarre. I read people saying how sturdy and tough suede is, and I read about people afraid to wear shell out in the rain, and yet I very frequently see suede look stained/discolored after a couple years and have yet to see a shell that can't be brought back to full luster.

Calgary is very dry too. That is great to know about the whiskey pairs, I think I will give my PTB and LHS some conditioning this weekend.

Marlow Tassel 9.5D, my all time favorite Tassel. Why you ask? Cigar, Double leather sole so U don't have to prissy around, these are animalistic on city streets, and I like the lower vamp than say.. the Alden model, oh .. did I mention the fox stitching at the heel?

^ agreed, very hard to tell, anyone know for sure. I've seen this listed on a Asian site with this very color calling them polished calf. Then another SF member claiming definitely shell. Anyone know for certain? Model 815083781

They were made both in calf and shell.
The shoes listed above are shell indeed

I know this is a long shot, but does anyone have a pair of lightly used Gianni boots for sale? I would be looking for a size 11.5 most like (my barrie), but would consider a 12.

edit: Or a BNIB pair, which would be preferable, I just know the odds are that are getting slimmer by the day.
