To think I came into this thread to see if the Lindrick is still shell cordovan because the Web page doesn't mention it...
Just to throw out another data point, I'm a 9 3E on the AE 5 last (Park Ave et al.) and I have the Lindrick in 10D. The Lindrick in 9.5D could possibly be better for me, but the 10 already required stretching the vamp due to my high instep. My feet are probably shaped differently from yours, but I can't imagine sizing down from my AE size for the Lindrick.

Thanks for sharing. I think I also have high instep as that's usually the part that determines if the shoes will fit me. Either way, looks like off to the Mansion I will go (not looking forward to it with more snow on the way).

If it helps I have a low instep and the main issue I have with the 8D Lindrick is that I have to tie them very tight. A higher instep would help this a lot. Now that you mention that I think the 8D might be ok on you. For me, sizing down to a 7.5D would likely be too tight in the toes. For now tongue pads have helped. Of course if you have the opportunity to try them on that is always best, I could not so had to use my best judgement on the fit.

I think the best is to get both pair and return one that don't fit you as good.

Indeed, this is always the best bet. nod[1].gif

When you're at the mansion, please see if you can get some intel on the future cordovan releases for this year!

Possibly, even likely, but no way to tell for certain from the pictures - they could be made in Italy, England, China, Brazil, US....

Pictures of the writing inside the shoe would be the best way to tell for certain.

I measure roughly about an 8.25 and I think a 7.75D (if they made that) would be the perfect size on me. I went with an 8D and it works for now with a tongue pad, might need a very thin insole.

Thanks for the advice! Seems like a 7.5D would be best

I love this design on the toe and the color. I have a similar pair and I must say that I always use.
