this may be optimal. i think 1 size down might be too narrow

calidist said it best, size down 3/4 size. just like i size down 1/4 size for the wingtip

Sizing info (tts12d):

Alden 11.5 Barrie
Alden 12 Aberdeen
Carmina UK11 Rain
Carmina UK11.5 Alcudia/Simpson
EG UK11.5
CJ RL Penny 12D
CJ RL Tassel 11.5
CJ RL WIngtip 11.75
CJ RL Lindrick 11.5

CJ RL Gianni - ordered size 11.5 and they fit loose with a dress sock. I have a size 11 coming in tomorrow so I might size down. Will report back when size 11 comes in. I have a feeling I might settle for the 11 and try to break them in. If you have a wider foot, take your alden barrie size. If youre slightly on the narrow size you may need to size 1 size down from your actual size.

Great look NAMOR. They are an awesome boot. Enjoy in good health.

Yeah it's a fucker. I have the Marlow wingtip in 13 and find it fits ok - would probably be better in a 12.5 though. It's perfectly wearable, just not 100% correct - maybe 90%. Damn you Lifshitz!

I am wearing my Marlow/Lindrick sized Gianni's (What a name for a clearly English Boot) and they feel like heaven with normal dress socks.  Sizing down would be too tight in the toe box. My 2 cents on sizing the boot.  Then again I like a little wiggle room in the toe box on a lace up.  No so in a loafer.  Then I do size down.  At least on this line and Alden and C&J.

Shoot thanks.

Can I call stores to have it shipped?

And when is the sale until?

some side-to-side comparison pics of equal sized Gianni and Lindrick boot. i think we've pretty much covered the sizing and I think the difference in sizing are visible in pics. some notes:

- lindrick toe nose is more slanted
- gianni boot has higher toe box
- gianni toe box has higher "walls" (i.e. little to no slope)
- gianni boot appear longer and wider than lindrick

That's what I had to do with my size lindricks. Called the New York location's "shoe salon". Don't know when the sale ends - probably moot because the stock is low.

Great pics, Namor.  How do you rate these compared with an Indy?  If I recall, you had an Indy boot in cigar...

I believe the only pair of pents that Namor wears is RRL selvedge officer chinos.

^ cant go wrong. wearing the size 11 boots (1 down from tts) they felt tight initially but fit just fine now. slight little toe pinch but my feet are already as large as they can get after a long day. I think they are keepers, I even got a partial horween stamp on this pair
