Also stock is really low on Lindricks, only 7 pairs in size 10.5 is all of US, so if they are included in the sale, stuff will move fast

Gotta keep cool, but they are just so damn nice. If somebody are 100% on ordering a pair when the sale comes and wants to help a fellow SFer, I'll be more than happy to pay a premium for the help. And that folks, will be the last of my nagging, thanks for the help.

From what I've seen, RL will give you the private code if you've made a big purchase from them before. If you don't get one, you can always call Customer Service and they'll give you one. It worked for me last November.

People also figure out the algorithm for the code that allows you to guess one. That's how I got mine last sale.

Last year during November when RL had private sale I went to RL website(USA) and typed my email address at the bottom. Boom 2-3 minutes later received an email with private sale code. And I am in Australia !” You will have to spend money at RL store to receive private sale code” is a myth. Private sale is a marketing strategy for them to make you spend more than you should.In Sydney private sales at RL store are not so private. Anyone walks through the door at RL store during private sale they tell them straight away that everything is 50% off.
The only exclusive sale that I have seen so far is through Mr. porter their founding members sale.

Strange as I have been on their mailing list and receive other codes, but I've never received one to the private sale.

+1, I have like 6 emails signed up since sometimes I'd want more than one code to use. Only time I've gotten codes have been my in store profile email and my online account email. Rest have never gotten it.

Also it's nice to have an SA call you prior to the sale to get stuff secured for you, much better than risking it online especially with limited stock

Just tried on the marlow wingtips and they are le sexsee

I asked the sales associate if they go on sale ever and he said cordovan never goes on sale. I think he thought I was gonna buy them today. I did take a 1/2size down from my US
