I was pretty certain they are, thanks.

C&J finishing definitely changed over the years.

Hey guys I need to know quick regarding the:

Saunders Calf Ankle Boot

How does it size?

I am a 12.5 normally.

Ordered a 12.

Should have I gone for 13? Also, feet width somewhere between normal and wide.

Any ideas?

I noticed that every Polo turned out with this amazing colour.
The last Ralph Lauren are so dark when new.
TBH I prefer the darker colour. But over time the darkness fades and gets lighter. My pair of penny and PTB got surprisingly light in about 10 wears. I use collonil gold premium leather polish every now and then to get that darkness back time to time.

They run narrow as. I am a us 8 EE to EEE. I have them in 8.5D. I have worn them for less than 30 minutes. They were killing my feet.

I just received my Lindricks today. These are my first cordovan shoes and my first boots. I lurked for a couple years and I've only purchased one AE and two Meermins so far so this was a big time purchase for me. Anyway to a newbie's eyes, cordovan looks very unique and different from calf. I hope to enjoy these for many years to come.

Congratulations! Wear them in good health. Now get those boots off of the furniture and start using the "Mac Method" to break those bad boys in.

Thanks for the well wishes. I will wear them next week despite 100+ degree weather out in LA.

I purchased these from eddievddr10 and the delivery was quick. They shipped from NY on Monday and were in my hands in LA on Thursday.

Is this how the rest of the outfit looks?

As promised here are some photos of the Marlow wingtips I aquired last week-collected from B Nelson last night with toe plates added.

I've been looking at the contributors to this thread, there are some ultra nice patina that have developed - currently mine are a deep dark chocolate brown so hopefully they'll lighten up a little after some wear.

I probably need to apply more elbow grease to get a better shine, brushed a few mins with horsehair before snapping the pics

Should start wearing them to break in for the fall!!
